My work is about the contents of my heart. It is about my deep, intimate connection with subject matter, and I take every detail and nuance of that subject matter very personally.

By attending to that detail, I connect with it and make it my own in a new way.

And by distilling subject matter down to essential emotion, I hope to share that emotion with the observer.

I have studied painting at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, and at the Kalamazoo (Michigan) Institute of Arts.

My work is currently represented by the American Coasts Gallery at the Bellaire Bed & Breakfast, Bellaire, Michigan.
